Late on Wednesday night, first responders in Wicomico County were called to the 7100 block of Rockawalkin Road in Salisbury, where they found a rolled over vehicle and a person suffering from life-threatening injuries.

Investigators say that the driver of a 2009 Nissan Altima lost control, left the roadway, and rolled, ejecting the driver, who was the only person inside the vehicle at the time.

The driver was transported by a helicopter to a medical facility for treatment of undisclosed injuries, according to the sheriff's office.

No details about the driver were provided by the agency.

The investigation to the crash resumed at 9 a.m. on Thursday morning, leading to temporary road closures on Rockawalkin Road between North Tourmaline Drive and South Tourmaline Drive.
